We Care UK is an organisation dedicated to supporting vulnerable families, the elderly and disabled against poverty and social isolation.
Our organisation was founded by Jason Bains in March 2020 at the start of the Coronavirus pandemic. We Care UK was formed to take the pressure off local food banks, local authorities and charities who were already at capacity and did not have the resources to provide additional support.
We Care UK started by providing food parcels to support vulnerable families and the clinically vulnerable, however the demand increased due to the pandemic. We created a simple system which allowed service users to be supported quickly.
Since March 2020 We Care UK has successfully supported over 20,000 service users across Leicestershire, Warwickshire, Coventry & Solihull with food parcels, advice and social isolation support.
We Care UK operates on Sikh based ethos, where we help and support all people regardless of race, religion, sexuality, culture or background.
We pride ourselves as an organisation who is always looking to partner with organisations and individuals with one clear goal which is to support those in need.
Each and every member of our amazing team brings a unique set of skills and expertise to We Care UK. Together as a team we have one goal which is to support those in need.
We started as a team of 2. We are now operating with 22 volunteers who dedicate their time selflessly to support those in need 7 days a week.
