One in five people in the UK say they experience feelings of loneliness, and during the coronavirus pandemic many more of us felt anxious and isolated.

Social Isolation Support- HELP WITH LONELINESS
If you are lonely, please know that you are not alone. We Care UK is here to help you.

Social isolation, on the other hand, is a lack of human contact and interaction.

We support elderly 65+ to get online and connect with online communities.

Anyone can experience loneliness at any time in their lives. People of all ages and backgrounds can be affected.

This advice may help you cope with feeling lonely or give you an understanding of how someone who is lonely may feel.

  1. Remember you are not alone.
  2. Think about what is making you lonely.
  3. Look out for local resources - when visiting doctors, local library, look for leaflets about local events, exercise classes, book clubs, coffee mornings, playgroups - that may help you connect with your community.
  4. Don’t be afraid to ask for help.
